I’m Andrew Anderson and this is my portfolio. In this website you will find case studies that represent my work as a UIX designer and researcher. Leadership, communication, and organization are skills than can be seen in my work.

When reflecting on my journey as a UX designer, there are three core strengths that consistently emerge through my work: leadership, communication, and organization. These qualities not only define my approach to design but also shape the way I collaborate and drive projects forward.

One of the clearest examples of my leadership skills can be seen in the GoodRx Pro redesign project, which focused on developing a healthcare-focused app. In this group project, I took on a leadership role by establishing clear goals, delegating tasks, and ensuring that each team member contributed meaningfully. By fostering a sense of accountability and shared purpose, we were able to deliver a successful and thoughtful prototype that addressed real user needs.

My leadership is closely tied to my communication skills. Throughout my academic and project experience, the majority of my work has been team-based, and I’ve learned that clear, consistent communication is essential to achieving a cohesive design vision. I make it a priority to keep everyone aligned, encourage open feedback, and create a collaborative environment where every voice is heard—especially during the critical stages of research and design.

Another way I demonstrate strong communication is through my organizational skills. I believe that a well-organized project not only helps a team function smoothly, but also communicates intent and value to stakeholders and users. Whether working on school assignments or personal projects, I approach each challenge with a structured mindset that ensures clarity and alignment from start to finish.

Together, these skills—leadership, communication, and organization—form the foundation of my work as a UX designer. They have enabled me to successfully contribute to both team and individual projects, and they continue to guide my path as I look toward a career in UX design within the healthcare or entertainment industries.
